Responsibilities
- Lead the behavioral health program by overseeing daily operations, staffing, and departmental coordination to ensure the highest standard of patient care and program efficiency.
- Coach and develop your team by providing ongoing training, performance feedback, and mentorship to foster a high-performing, supportive culture.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care, collaborating with the broader healthcare team to ensure clinical goals are met and treatment plans are executed effectively.
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care as needed, ensuring clinical evaluations and interventions remain accurate and compassionate during periods of high demand.
- Ensure full operational compliance by directing departmental activities in strict accordance with federal, state, and regulatory standards to protect patient safety and institutional integrity.
Requirements
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: One or more of the following required:
- Licensed Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Counselor credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Marriage & Family Therapy, Professional Counseling & Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Psychologist credentialed from the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
