Responsibilities

• Collaborates with RNs in assessing patients experiencing acute psychiatric crises
• Facilitates implementation of nursing care plans promoting emotional well-being as delegated
• Maintains patient and environmental safety
• Fosters a safe and nurturing environment encouraging constructive interactions among patients
• Edicates patients on interpersonal and self-care skills
• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Conducts age-appropriate psycho-educational groups
• Recognizes and responds promptly to critical and obvious changes in patient conditions
• Communicates patient care observations and safety concerns to multidisciplinary team
