Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health - Day Shift

Position: Registered Nurse with a focus on behavioral health, providing patient-centered care in a hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.Maintain current competency and contribute to the professional development of peers.Integrate ethical standards, evidence-based practices, and research into nursing care.Promote safety protocols to prevent injuries to patients and staff.Supervise and guide nursing personnel, ensuring quality care delivery.Document patient information thoroughly and promptly.Recognize and respond appropriately to emergency situations.Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of one year of staff nurse experience, preferably in psychiatric settings.Graduate of an accredited nursing program.Current Illinois Nursing license and CPR certification.Effective communication skills and ability to supervise staff.Knowledge of nursing skills, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NRP potentially required.Experience in behavioral health strongly preferred.
