About the role
A registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a behavioral health setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform admissions, assessments, and document patient behaviors and care.
- Use critical thinking to analyze patient data and communicate changes to physicians.
- Develop, review, and evaluate multidisciplinary treatment plans.
- Monitor patient safety and supervise care delivered by LPNs and techs.
- Educate patients and families based on assessed needs, adhering to evidence-based practices.
- Maintain professional nursing standards and follow ethical guidelines.
- Perform safety assessments and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensing.
- Current valid RN license in the work location, with Basic Life Support certification.
- No prior experience required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient care activities.
