Behavioral Health Provider

Role: Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) delivering behavioral health services to diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Responsibilities: Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment levels, provide psychotherapy, conduct mental health screenings, and collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure integrated care. Act as a patient advocate, support self-management and behavior change, manage psychosocial aspects of health conditions, and follow electronic health record procedures. Supervise unlicensed providers if licensed, and assist in addressing social and emotional barriers to healthcare. Qualifications: Master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or social work; must be licensed in Colorado within 3 years; minimum 2 years post-licensure experience preferred. Fluency in Spanish and English required. Skills include knowledge of behavioral medicine, evidence-based treatments, quick assessment ability, and sensitivity to low-income and minority communities.
