About the role
Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) delivering behavioral health services to diverse patient populations, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to determine appropriate treatment levels
- Provide psychotherapy
- Conduct mental health screenings
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure integrated care
- Act as a patient advocate
- Support self-management and behavior change
- Manage psychosocial aspects of health conditions
- Follow electronic health record procedures
- Supervise unlicensed providers if licensed
- Assist in addressing social and emotional barriers to healthcare
Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, or social work
- Must be licensed in Colorado within 3 years
- Minimum 2 years post-licensure experience preferred
- Fluency in Spanish and English required
