Behavioral Health Practicum Therapist - Eating Disorders

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Psychiatry Department within a multi-disciplinary team approach to provide therapeutic interventions for patients and families.
• Provide therapeutic interventions related to depression, anxiety, trauma, acceptance, and adjusting to significant life changes for individuals ranging from children, older teens, adults, and the elderly.
• Assess, psycho-diagnose, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of licensed professionals.
• Participate in group and family therapy sessions as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT).
• Previous experience in a mental health setting (internships, volunteer work, etc.) is preferred.
• Commitment to learning and professional development.
• Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to meet client needs.
• Adherence to clinic policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.
