Behavioral Health Marketing Representative, Laurel, Hattiesburg, Gulf Coast

About the role

As a Marketer or "Service Development Representative", you will provide case management functions within the community, act as a liaison between providers and referral sources to ensure a smooth transition of services from different levels of clinical intensity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business and marketing plans for the facility.
• Establish strategic marketing plans to achieve the facility's objectives.
• Manage individual marketing budget.
• Collaborate with the medical director, program administrator, staff and community to identify specific areas of educational needs.
• Develop referral relationships within the community and act as a conduit for information between the facility and resources, making each aware of how their services may complement and meet client needs.
• Collect information from referring professionals/facilities, meet with potential patients and conduct pre-admission screenings as a liaison between source and hospital to obtain minimum information for clinical team to determine admission eligibility.
• Assist with care alternatives for patients and families as needed.
• Communicate results of the pre-screening process and recommendations to patient/family and referral source per company policy.
• Participate in community development of hospital services.
• Provide consultative and educational services throughout the month.
