About the role
The Inpatient Adult Psychiatry Staff Clinician is a Masters prepared clinician responsible for providing psychosocial assessments, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, formulating treatment plans, coordinating care, and managing case management and discharge planning.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate familiarity with DSM5 criteria, major mental illnesses, and substance use disorders.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- Be well-organized and manage time effectively.
- Provide psychosocial assessments, formulate interdisciplinary treatment plans, coordinate and network care with families and outpatient providers.
- Conduct treatment and discharge planning meetings, crisis and safety planning, and arrange aftercare for patients.
- May conduct reviews with insurance companies as needed.
Requirements
This position requires a Masters Degree. Familiarity with DSM5 criteria, major mental illnesses, and substance use disorders is necessary. Experience working in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary setting is preferred.

Skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and knowledge of healthcare regulations and policies.

Pay
$55,390.40 - $80,485.60/Annual
Schedule
Full-time float position for two adult inpatient mental health units and, potentially, an older-adult inpatient unit. Works on-site, 40 hours per week.
