Behavioral Health Clinician - Pittsburgh/Hybrid - Full Time

About the Role

Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of acute psychiatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides individual, group, and family therapy with assigned patients (70%).
• Conducts an individual comprehensive evaluation for assigned patients (10%).
• Completes all documentation according to regulatory requirements (e.g., treatment plans, progress notes) (10%).
• Attends all required departmental/hospital meetings (10%).
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or other Behavioral Specialist license.
• CPR – American Heart Association certification.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.

Preferred Qualifications

• Older Adults Protective Services Act (OAPSA) clearance.
• Prior counseling experience in a behavioral health setting.
