Behavioral Health Clinician, LSW LAC

About the role

The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality mental health services to individuals in need. This position is 100% community based.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively and in coordination with PACT team members, consumers, for their families and other service providers.
• Complete culturally sensitive biopsychosocial assessments.
• Provide individual, group, and family interventions as warranted, based on development of individual recovery plan.
• Assess psychoeducational learning needs of consumers and their families, as applicable.
• Aid consumers with daily living tasks, including shopping, cooking, housekeeping, etc.
• Respond to emergency situations.
• Help consumers clarify choices in relation to housing, employment, school, use of leisure time, etc.
• Help consumers find and maintain employment, housing, benefits, etc.
• Act as advocate for consumers, which may involve frequent contact with employers, landlords, local shopkeepers, and others.
• Adhere to all Agency policies and procedures, including attendance at all required agency training.

Requirements

• Master's Degree and LSW or LAC
• Valid New Jersey driver's license
• 2 years post-bachelor's level experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
