About the role
Become part of a multidisciplinary team focused on providing holistic care to patients. Bridging together medical care and behavioral health care. Integrated into a primary care setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide screening, assessments, and focused brief treatment to patients of the practice.
- Conduct individual, family, and group work.
- Offer curbside consultation to providers.
- Link patients to additional services and supports.
- Participate in population health activities targeting the health and wellbeing of specific groups of people.
Requirements
- Current Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Comfortable working with all age groups.
- Knowledge of and interest in treating substance use disorders is preferred.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field.
- Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine.
- At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of substance use disorders.

Pay
Up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Behavioral Health Clinicians!
Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 3 months separation from employment. Bonuses may be prorated based on schedule.
