Behavioral Health Clinician

About the role

The Clinical Specialist provides clinical and administrative support to the REACH Crisis Therapeutic Home (CTH) and assists the mobile team as needed. They conduct assessments and reassessments, deliver crisis prevention and intervention services, and support Behavior Technicians on the floor while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment for up to six guests.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and reassessments

• Support Behavior Technicians on the floor
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for up to six guests
• Assist the CTH Supervisor in developing and maintaining clinical and therapeutic integrity
• Develop and modify therapeutic groups and activities
• Provide QMHP-T supervision to Behavior Techs
• Participate in the residential on-call rotation

Requirements

• Master’s in health, psychology or social work from USDOE or CHEA accredited institution
• Licensed or License-eligible as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT
• 3 years of experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations preferred
• Experience with crisis prevention and intervention services a plus
• Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Suite

Qualifications

• Education: Master’s in health, psychology or social work from USDOE or CHEA accredited institution
• Licensed or License-eligible as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT
• 3 years of experience with developmental disabilities and mental health populations preferred

Pay

• $60,000 - $65,000 for this full-time, exempt position

Schedule

• Monday–Friday schedule with your choice of 7:00am–3:00pm, 8:00am–4:00pm, or 9:00am–5:00pm
• Option to work remotely one day per week after training
