Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Provides behavioral health assessment and ongoing individual and group psychotherapy to adult patients at multiple clinic sites.
- Provides crisis evaluations as needed on-site.
- Connects patients with resources necessary to address needs, such as substance use treatment, vocational training, state/federal benefits, housing case management, and legal assistance.
- Maintains contact and consultation with patients’ medical providers to provide comprehensive care; maintains up-to-date charting of electronic records.
- Mets weekly with manager for individual supervision and monthly for peer group supervision.
- Attends weekly BH clinical rounds and weekly BH team meetings and other meetings as scheduled.
- Advocate and coordinate on behalf of the client with other agencies involved in the client’s life when appropriate.
- LICSW provides supervision to unlicensed clinicians as needed.
Qualifications
- Massachusetts LICSW and LMHC preferred, LCSW required or license eligible.
- Candidates working toward LCSW licensure must have filed a license application with the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Social Workers and must not have failed the licensing exam more than once.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Experience with the homeless population preferred; experience as practitioner in adult individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapy.
- Training in substance abuse, trauma, and intimate partner violence.
- Ability to work with dual diagnosed patients who also have complex medical problems; ability to be flexible within a changing milieu.
- Takes direction well. Works well with a multidisciplinary team approach.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary starts at $66,000 and will increase with years of experience; additional compensation for demonstrated bilingual proficiency and more.
