Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepares for and conducts individual, group and family therapy for assigned caseload according to the treatment frequency stated on the Individual Service Plan (ISP).
  • Provides CPST and TBS services and activities as assigned.
  • Aid client in developing and implementing an individualized treatment plan.
  • Maintain progress in treatment and participate in treatment plan review as assigned.
  • Modify treatment plans to comply with changes and make referrals as appropriate.
  • Complete all assigned paperwork and documents according to assigned/expected timelines, applicable standards and requirements.
  • Aid client in making discharge and/or transition plans. Make appropriate referrals to other treatment services, both internal and external.

Qualifications

  • State of Ohio License (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC)
  • Solid behavioral health assessment and clinical skills
  • Excellent record keeping skills

Environmental Demands

  • The work is performed in an office environment or community setting such as a workshop, school, home, etc.
  • Some health and safety risk due to the behavior of clients in crisis.
  • Individual must be able to implement crisis intervention procedures.
