About the role

We are seeking a Manager of Behavioral Health to coordinate patient care, develop clinical programs, and ensure safety within behavioral health units. The role involves exercising independent judgment, overseeing daily operations, and leading a team with a focus on compassionate, ethical care aligned with recognized standards and care models.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing a team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Developing and maintaining clinical programs and operational safety.
  • Handling clinical and operational issues with accountability.
  • Fostering an inclusive, respectful environment aligned with organizational values.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in behavioral health, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Alaska Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist license.
  • At least 5 years of behavioral health or social services experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory experience.
