About the Role
The Charge Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care based on theoretical concepts and standards of practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate nursing activities within the unit.
- Ensure patient care meets quality and safety standards.
- Utilize professional judgment in decision-making.
- Maintain current licensure and certifications.
- Adhere to physical requirements including lifting, standing, and mobility tasks.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure.
- BLS certification; additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, ENPC) may be required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform extended periods of standing and lifting.
