About the Opportunity:The BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CARE ADVOCATE is responsible for managing behavioral health and substance abuse cases through case management and utilization review. This role ensures appropriate levels of care are recommended and maintained throughout treatment plans, directly impacting members' health and contributing to effective care coordination. Responsibilities:Manage and administer behavioral health benefits for facility-based care dailyUse clinical assessments to determine appropriate care levelsEvaluate the need for additional clinical servicesCoordinate benefits and transitions between care levelsConsult with facility staff to enhance treatment plans and outcomesAssist in identifying community-based services for discharge planning during care Requirements:Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related behavioral health fieldIndependent, active, and unrestricted clinical license in resident stateMinimum of 2 years experience in a mental health settingProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work occasional holidays as requiredDedicated home office with reliable high-speed internet Pay Range and Compensation Package:Salary ranges from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employment and candidate qualifications Benefits & Perks:401(k) plan Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
