Behavioral Health Assessment Licensed PRN

We are seeking a Behavioral Health Assessor-Licensed to perform comprehensive clinical assessments, psycho-education, and interventions for patients experiencing psychological, behavioral, or substance-related disturbances. Under the supervision of the Manager of Behavioral Health, this role involves collaborating with physicians, social workers, and care teams to develop individualized treatment plans, determine appropriate levels of care, and coordinate patient discharge and referrals. Key responsibilities include conducting in-person and tele-mental health assessments, completing suicide risk evaluations, reviewing care plans with patients and families, and documenting all interactions accurately in electronic medical records. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling, licensure as a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor or Licensed Master Social Worker (GA), and a minimum of 3 years of experience working with behavioral health populations. Essential skills encompass effective communication, knowledge of behavioral health best practices, technological proficiency in Word, Excel, and telemedicine tools, and a commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality. Additional duties involve participating in staff meetings, maintaining professional development, and adhering to safety and documentation protocols.
