Role Overview
Seeking an Intensive Behavioral Aide to support children and adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one behavioral intervention
- Assisting with daily activities such as self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor skills, and crisis intervention
- Supporting personal care tasks like bathing, hygiene, feeding, dressing, and mobility
- Collecting data to monitor progress based on the Behavior Support Plan
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED; experience in education or healthcare preferred
- Minimum one year working with individuals with special needs exhibiting challenging behaviors
- College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related fields preferred
- Current CPR/First Aid certification and updated TB test
- Must be at least 18 years old
Key Duties
- Implement behavior plans and document behavioral data
- Assist with personal care and daily routines
- Provide compassionate, individualized behavioral support
