Behavior Technician Supervisor - Arcadia Place

About the role

Behavior Health Technician Supervisor assists counselors/therapeutic/nursing staff by providing clinical support to adults or children receiving substance abuse, mental health services or co-occurring disorders in various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and feedback to other Behavior Health Technicians during shift.
• Establishes a positive helping relationship with persons receiving services.
• Affords support to persons receiving services in completing activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources and building functional relationships with others.
• Ensures the safety of the person receiving services.
• Implements specific interventions according to the person’s treatment or service plan.
• Makes sure the person’s progress is monitored and documented.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and at least two (2) years of experience working with children.
• Must be able to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families, as required.
• Must be able to travel locally to client’s homes, training locations and other locations as necessary.
• Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record and be insurable under the corporate policy.

Pay

Base pay ranges from $17.50 to $18.75 an hour based on experience. Shift differential pay is $2.00- $4.00 per hour if applicable.
