Responsibilities
- Attend school with the child
- Assist with daily activities such as toileting and schoolwork
- Support behavior according to the client’s IEP
- Maintain proper documentation in compliance with state laws
- Work in a 1:1 ratio, with duties extending to home and summer camp care
- Adhere to care plans and follow policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of pediatric experience
- Experience working with special needs children
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to undergo pre‑employment screenings
