Behavior Technician, Residential Treatment

About the role

I Am Boundless is hiring a Behavior Technician to assist individuals with I/DD in a residential therapeutic setting. The position requires constant engagement and supervision of individuals, implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis and Behavior Support Plans, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Engage and supervise individuals in a residential therapeutic setting
• Implement Applied Behavioral Analysis and Behavior Support Plans
• Provide crisis intervention for self-injury, aggression, and disruptive behavior

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written
• Licensure/Certification: First Aid, CPR - adult, child and infant; valid Ohio Driver’s License with proof of auto insurance
• No more than 5 points on license

Qualifications

• Three-year experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or behavioral health conditions
• Experience implementing applied behavior analysis
• College Degree in related field preferred
