Behavior Technician / RBT (Guaranteed Hours)

ABS Kids offers an additional $1.00/hour premium pay for bilingual candidates (e.g., Spanish/English) when matched with bilingual-required client sessions. Bonuses of $500–$1000 are available based on experience.

Schedule

• Set weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Guaranteed 30 hours per week after completing paid training and obtaining RBT certification
• Block scheduling, working in teams

Pay

• $20–$24.50/hour base pay
• Pay increase upon RBT certification

Responsibilities

• Teach children through play while following individualized treatment plans
• Observe, play, and collect data to write progress notes
• Help children develop essential life skills (motor, social, emotional, etc.)
• Work on goals to shape challenging behaviors into communication skills
• Make a meaningful difference in the lives of children

Requirements

• Paid prior experience working with kids (e.g., camp counselor, daycare, nanny, school setting, ABA) preferred
• High energy, playful, creative, and able to think on your feet
• Dependable and reliable for clients and their families
• Physical ability to constantly get up and down from the floor and move quickly
• Tech-savvy: comfortable learning data collection software and using Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Desire to learn, work independently, and provide high-quality care
• Interest in evidence-based methods grounded in science
• Fluent in English; Spanish fluency highly preferred
