About the role
Support individuals in daily activities, promote independence, and assist with personal care tasks.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities
- Promote independence and self-care skills
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Document progress and communicate with families and staff
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Passing score on a background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of disability-specific resources and services
