About the role
A dedicated Behavior Technician (RBT/BT) is needed to support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in their daily lives. The role involves implementing behavior plans, providing positive reinforcement, and assisting with social skills training.
Responsibilities
- Implement behavior plans and interventions as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide positive reinforcement and praise to encourage desired behaviors
- Assist in developing and maintaining social skills through structured activities
- Document observations and progress in client files
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to ensure consistent support
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Specialist (BS)
- Experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Passion for making a difference in people’s lives
Skills
- Excellent observational and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Pay
