Behavior Technician (RBT)

About the role

Join Finni South New Mexico as an ABA Behavior Technician!

Responsibilities

• Work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home.
• Work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.
• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst.
• Attend team meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field.
• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs.
• Reliable Transportation.
• Active CPR certification (Preferred).
• RBT certification: (Preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time.
• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time.
