About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part Time Behavior Technician to join our team at Owen Health Care in Springield, NJ. You will work with children in our Clinic setting, making a meaningful impact in a supportive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Implementing behavioral interventions in home and community settings
- Tailoring service plans to meet each child's unique needs
- Managing youth with behavioral challenges
- Maintaining a safe environment
- Monitoring behavior
- Organizing engaging activities
Requirements
- A passion to work with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Adaptability in navigating different situations and adjusting strategies
- An enjoyment of working with kids to build positive relationships
- Problem-solving skills to address behavioral issues and promote positive outcomes
Qualifications
- Experience or willingness to obtain RBT certification
- Supervision of hours towards BCBA certification
