About the role

As a school-based Registered Behavior Technician, you'll work directly in DOE schools providing one-on-one and small group ABA therapy services. You'll collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to help students succeed in the school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide one-on-one and small group ABA therapy services in DOE schools
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success
  • Work directly with students to implement behavior plans
  • Assist in creating and implementing individualized educational plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments and data collection to monitor progress
  • Participate in team meetings and parent conferences

Requirements

  • Have 48 completed college credits (3 in MATH100 or up and 3 in ENG100 or up)
  • Can pass DOE background screening
  • Must be at least 18 years or older
  • Available Monday - Friday 7:30am - 2:30pm
  • Available for in person training for 3-4 weeks between 8:00am - 4:30pm
  • MUST be located on Oʻahu and available for an in-person interview if selected
  • Requires frequent movement, including sitting on the floor, standing, bending, and responding quickly to client needs
  • Candidates must be able to lift or assist clients and equipment up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation

Pay

$24.00 per hour (with future opportunities for raises)

Schedule

Monday – Friday between 7:30am - 2:30pm
