Behavior Technician II - Crisis Stabilization Unit

About the role

The Behavior Health Technician position at Lakeview Center supports clients with substance abuse, mental health services, or co-occurring disorders in various settings such as residential programs, inpatient facilities, day/evening programs, outpatient programs, and community-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Establishing a positive helping relationship with people receiving services.
• Aiding those receiving services in completing activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources, and building functional, pro-social relationships with others.
• Maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of those receiving services.
• Implementing specific interventions according to the person’s treatment or service plan.
• Monitoring and documenting the person’s progress.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• One (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting (preferred).
• Ability to obtain provided CPR certification.
• Ability to pass provided CPI training.
• Ability to provide individualized, integrated mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring services to meet the needs of individuals served and their families.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in other behavioral health programs as needed.
• Pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
• Valid driver’s license from the state in which you reside, a good driving record, and being insurable under the corporate policy.

Pay

Base pay ranges from $15.00 - $16.12 an hour based on experience. Shift differential pay ($2.00- $4.00) and supplemental pay (up to 8% of base pay) is applicable to certain programs at Lakeview Center, Inc.

Shifts may vary depending on the program and client needs.
