About the role
Enhance the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities through compassionate care and support.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Implement behavior intervention plans as outlined in individualized service plans.
- Assist with daily living activities such as hygiene, meal preparation, and personal care.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and policies.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
Skills
- Basic computer literacy.
- Knowledge of behavior analysis principles.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
