About the role
Autism Learning Partners is seeking individuals who are passionate about helping children and teens with autism. The role involves providing support through play-based learning, acting as a positive role model, and staying organized during sessions.
Responsibilities
- Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions through fun games or activities.
- Encourage progress and celebrate small victories daily.
- Maintain physical activity and engagement during sessions.
- Track progress and performance using provided tools.
- Collaborate with a team to assist families in seeing positive outcomes and hope.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED completed and at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled).
- At least 6+ months of experience working with children (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
- Reliable car, valid driver's license, and insurance.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- Pass background and health checks.
Qualifications
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Experience with Spanish language is preferred but not required.

Pay
$20-$29/hr depending on location, with Spanish speakers earning an additional $0.50/hr.
Schedule
- Part-Time: Up to 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm or 8am to 6pm.
- Full-Time: Available all weekdays from 3:30pm to 8pm or 8am to 6pm, with scheduling based on client needs.
