Responsibilities
- Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions through fun games or activities.
- Encourage progress and celebrate small victories daily.
- Maintain a positive and active presence during sessions.
- Keep detailed records of each session and track progress.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to assist families in seeing progress and hope.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED completed and at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled).
- At least 6+ months of experience working with children (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
- Reliable car, valid driver's license, and insurance.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to pass background and health checks.
Qualifications
- Passionate about working with children and teens with autism.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Skills
- Patience and understanding of special needs children.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual needs.
- Basic computer skills for tracking progress.

Pay
Hourly rate ranging from $20-$29/hr, dependent on location.
Schedule
- Part-Time: Up to 20 hours per week, flexible schedule between 3:30pm to 8pm or 8am to 6pm.
- Full-Time: Available all weekdays from 3:30pm to 8pm or 8am to 6pm, with sessions scheduled based on client needs.
What You’ll Need
