Behavior Technician Childcare Experience Needed - Spanish Bilingual

About the role

Autism Learning Partners offers part-time support for children and teens with autism, providing services in clients' homes and local centers.

Responsibilities

• Teach children new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions through play-based activities.
• Encourage progress and celebrate small victories daily.
• Maintain physical activity during sessions.
• Track and document work performed and child's progress.
• Collaborate with families to support their children's development.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• 6+ months of experience working with kids (paid or volunteer).
• Reliable car, valid driver's license, and insurance.
• Pass background and health checks.
• Successfully complete mandatory training including New Hire Orientation, 40 hours of RBT training, Skills Practice, CPR, CPI, and exam for RBT certification.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Passionate about working with energetic kiddos.

Qualifications

• Spanish fluency required for Spanish speakers, earning an additional $0.50/hr.

Pay

$22-28.50/hr, with an additional $0.50/hr for Spanish fluency and $0.50/hr for RBT certification completion.

Schedule

Part-time schedule available, up to 20 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm, with flexible scheduling based on client needs.
