Behavior Technician Childcare Experience Needed
About the role
Autism Learning Partners offers a fulfilling part-time opportunity for individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children and teens with autism. The role involves providing services in clients' homes and local centers, focusing on teaching new skills through play and supporting families.
Responsibilities
- Teach children new skills such as communication, sharing, or following directions using fun games or activities.
- Encourage progress and celebrate small victories daily.
- Maintain physical activity during sessions.
- Track and document progress for each child.
- Collaborate with a supportive team to help families see real progress and hope.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED completed and at least one semester of college coursework (or currently enrolled).
- At least six months of experience working with kids (paid or volunteer experience, including babysitting).
- A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance.
- The ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
- A big heart, patience, and the ability to engage with energetic children.

- Pass background and health checks.

Pay
$21.00-$28.00/hr.
Schedule
Part-time schedule available, with availability required all weekdays from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions are scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
