The role involves providing services in clients' homes and local centers, focusing on teaching new skills through play and encouraging progress.

Responsibilities

  • Teach children new skills such as communication, sharing, or following directions using fun games or activities.
  • Encourage progress and celebrate small victories daily.
  • Maintain physical activity during sessions.
  • Track progress and document sessions effectively.
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to assist families in seeing real progress and hope.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED completed.
  • 6+ months of experience working with kids (paid or volunteer, including babysitting).
  • Reliable car, valid driver's license, and insurance.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Pass background and health checks.

Qualifications

  • A big heart, patience, and the ability to engage with energetic kiddos.

Skills

  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to different situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

$20-$25.75/hr with an additional $0.50/hr for Spanish speakers.

Schedule

Part-time schedule available, up to 20 hours per week. Available all weekdays from 3:30pm to 8pm, with flexible scheduling based on client needs.
