Behavior Technician – Childcare and Babysitter Experience Welcome
About the role
Autism Learning Partners is seeking individuals who have 6+ months of paid or volunteer experience working with children to support children and teens with autism. The role offers part-time work (up to 20 hours per week) primarily in clients' homes, with some sessions held in local centers.
Responsibilities
- Help kids learn through play, teaching new skills like communication, sharing, or following directions.
- Be a positive role model, encouraging progress and celebrating small victories.
- Stay active during sessions, moving around and engaging with children.
- Keep things organized by tracking progress and successes.
- Support families by being part of a team that helps them see real progress and hope.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED completed
- 6+ months of experience with kids (paid or volunteer — babysitting counts!)
- Reliable car, driver's license, and insurance
- Willingness to pass background and health checks
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
- A big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos

Pay
$21.50-$27.75/hr
Schedule
Part-time (Up to 20 hours) Hours: Availability required 4-5 weekdays Monday - Friday from 3:30pm to 8pm. Sessions will be scheduled within this timeframe based on client needs.
