Behavior Technician (BT) | Autism

About the role

We do more than provide ABA services—we create consistent, supportive environments where children can grow and families feel empowered.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with children in a home setting, helping them build essential life and communication skills through structured, supportive care.
• Provide in-home ABA therapy under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child.
• Track progress through data collection and session documentation (training provided).
• Support development in behavior, communication, and daily living skills.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with children and their families.

Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Experience working with children (ASD experience preferred).
• At least 6 months of ABA or related experience is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to take feedback, stay organized, and work independently.
• Comfortable working in a home-based environment.
• Reliable transportation and access to a mobile device for session notes.
• Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Bilingual (Spanish speaking) or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (light lifting, bending, kneeling, etc. during sessions).
