Behavior Technician (BT)

About the role

The Behavior Technician (BT) will work 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis, implementing applied behavior analysis (ABA) programs under the direction and supervision of a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA).

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with children who have an Autism diagnosis
• Implement ABA programs under the direction and supervision of a BCBA
• Collect, record and document data based on observable client behavior
• Communicate to parents and team members regarding a child’s progress
• Work 1:1 with children in their home and in our center
• Work 5 days a week, some evenings till 6pm

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required
• Certified Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
• Ability to work with children who have Autism diagnoses

Pay

• $18.00-$22.00 /hr (pending experience)

Schedule

• Monday - Friday some evenings till 6pm
