Behavior Technician (BT)

Role: As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will provide one-on-one behavioral support to students with IEPs in a school setting, under the supervision of a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA). Key Responsibilities Implement individualized IEPs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using ABA strategies with fidelitySupport classroom routines and collaborate with educational and behavioral teamsProvide direct behavioral support to students in educational environmentsAccurately collect, graph, and maintain behavioral dataUtilize de-escalation techniques and physical management for safety when necessaryParticipate in supervision sessions to ensure BACB complianceAssist students in achieving behavioral, social, and educational goalsAttend trainings and meetings as assigned Qualifications & Skills Associate’s degree or higherActive RBT certification through BACBKnowledge of ABA strategies and behavior interventionsStrong communication, organization, and data collection abilitiesEmpathy and understanding of developmental and behavioral needsPhysical ability to support students in active environments Additional Details: The role involves full-time, school-day hours, Monday–Friday, supporting students across Hawaii.
