About the role
Paid training and RBT Certification! Located in Riverbank, CA City only. Part-time schedule from Monday to Sunday, 2-8pm. Must have afternoon and evening availability. Work setting includes in-home or in-clinic sessions. Compensation starts at $20–$24/hour, increasing after RBT certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
Requirements
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
- 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year)
- Background check (FBI & DOJ)
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field
- Highly Preferred: Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or those who have completed an ABA Paraprofessional training certificate (RBT, BCAT, ABAT) and hold a certificate
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
