About the role

Burnett Therapeutic Services (BTS) is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism or developmental delays in Santa Rosa, Guerneville, Sonoma, Petaluma, Rohnert Park, Windsor, Cloverdale. The role involves delivering one-on-one behavior support, implementing behavior intervention plans, collecting and recording data, and communicating with families.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
  • Collect and record data on client progress accurately
  • Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support
  • Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions

Requirements

  • Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
  • 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
  • TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year)
  • Background check (FBI & DOJ)

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field
  • Highly Preferred: Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or those who have already completed an ABA Paraprofessional training certificate (RBT, BCAT, ABAT) and hold a certificate
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus

Schedule

Monday to Sunday, 2-8pm. Must have afternoon and evening availability.

Pay

$20–$24/hour, based on experience and training received. Increase after you obtain your Training and RBT certification!
