About the role
Burnett Therapeutic Services (BTS) is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism or developmental delays in San Rafael, Novato, and San Anselmo cities. The role is part-time, Monday to Sunday, 2-8pm, with afternoon and evening availability required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and record data on client progress accurately
- Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support
- Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions
Requirements
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and a passion for working with children
- 6 months of experience working or volunteering with individuals with intellectual disabilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain during onboarding)
- TB test (within 90 days), MMR & Varicella Immunization, and a Pre-employment Physical (within the past year)
- Background check (FBI & DOJ)
Qualifications
- Current student or recent graduate in Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Sociology, Biology, or related field
- Highly Preferred: Candidates with an RBT, ABAT, or BCAT certification, or those who have already completed an ABA Paraprofessional training certificate (RBT, BCAT, ABAT) training course and hold a certificate
- Spanish-speaking is a plus

Pay
$20–$24/hour, based on experience and training received. Increase after you obtain your Training and RBT certification!
Schedule
Monday to Sunday, 2-8pm. Must have afternoon and evening availability.
