Behavior Technician (BT)

Astra ABA is seeking a passionate and skilled Behavior Technician (BT) to provide individualized therapy for children in Greenville, NC. This part-time role empowers young minds through one-on-one ABA therapy in home settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home settings
• Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision
• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET)
• Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs and company policies
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children
• Ability to work in an in-home setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Schedule

• Monday to Friday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM
• Sunday: 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM (weekends negotiable)

Pay

$22 - $30 hourly
