Job Summary
Astra ABA is seeking a passionate and experienced Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Therapists in Wallace, NC.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home settings, implementing treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET) to support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members to ensure a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach.
Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA, adhering to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Experience with aggression and self-injurious behaviors needed.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM–7:00 PM
Saturday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM (weekend negotiable)
