Behavior Technician (BT)
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in-home setting.
- Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.
- Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET).
- Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
- Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
- Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
- Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
- Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs only and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or recently completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is preferred but not required.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation are required.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Passion for providing quality care and making a difference in the lives of children and their families.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children and families.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
$20-$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Mon-Fri 4pm-6pm and Saturday 12pm-5pm.
