About the Role
Astra ABA is dedicated to empowering young minds to flourish through individualized therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) techniques. As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will play a vital role in supporting children on their journey to realizing their full potential.
This role offers flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends if desired. You will receive guidance and support from experienced BCBAs to ensure the highest level of treatment fidelity, along with regular training and supervision to stay up-to-date on best practices in ABA therapy.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in the comfort of their own homes
- Implement treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision
- Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET)
- Support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains
- Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes
- Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members
- Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
- Adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs and company policies
- Participate in ongoing training and supervision as required
