Behavior Technician (BT)

About the role

Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in their home setting, implementing treatment and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity under BCBA supervision.

• Utilize ABA techniques such as positive reinforcement, shaping, and natural environment teaching (NET) to support skill development in communication, social, play, adaptive, and academic domains.
• Collect accurate data on client progress during every session and submit same-day SOAP notes.
• Collaborate and maintain clear communication with BCBAs, families, and team members.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and adhere to BACB Ethics Code for RBTs and company policies.

Requirements

• Experience with high levels of tantrum behaviors needed
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain (covered by us)
• Ability to pass a background check and obtain necessary clearances
