Behavior Technician - Autism Support

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll provide 1:1 support for children with autism in our early intervention center in Canton, MI, helping them build communication, social, and life skills through play-based learning. Our clinic offers a bright, positive environment where BCBAs, RBTs, and therapists work side-by-side, sharing insights and supporting one another. With no nights or weekends, you’ll enjoy a fulfilling work-life balance and meaningful days filled with progress, laughter, and purpose.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming therapy space.
• Support a positive, safe, and engaging environment that promotes learning through play.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Welcome and communicate professionally with families and coworkers.
• Record data accurately and maintain session documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to actively interact and engage with young children.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality to get to our center on time.
• Passion for working with individuals on the autism spectrum – patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are key.
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality of client information.

Pay

Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
