Behavior Technician

About the role

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles
• Monitor and document client progress towards treatment goals
• Collaborate with a supportive team to provide consistent care
• Adapt therapy sessions to meet the changing needs of each child
• Conduct assessments to evaluate client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Requirements

• At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
• Ability to pass a background check
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children
• Passion for working with individuals with autism and special needs
• Experience with ABA therapy and play-based interventions
• Ability to maintain continuous visual and auditory awareness of clients
• Physical stamina to complete all physical requirements of the position
