About the role

As a Behavior Technician, you'll work one-on-one with children with autism, using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and play to build communication, confidence, and independence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on ABA principles
  • Monitor and document client progress in real-time
  • Collaborate with a supportive team to provide comprehensive care
  • Adapt therapy sessions to meet the changing needs of each child
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and strategies

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old on your first day of employment
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and patience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Passionate about helping children with autism and special needs
  • Willingness to undergo paid training in ABA therapy

Physical Requirements

  • Physical requirements vary based on specific client assignments
  • Expected to be able to complete all physical requirements of the position either with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • May require pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Requires frequent changes in physical positions throughout the day, including walking, sitting, standing, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and occasional running
  • Maintains continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients to support a safe environment
